I offer kind, thoughtful and practical support for horses and companion animals, focusing on both physical wellbeing and emotional balance. My work is centred around listening to the animal in front of me, creating calm environments, and helping owners feel more confident and connected.
Whether your horse needs rehabilitation support, handling confidence, enrichment, or holistic care, I aim to work in a way that feels safe, respectful and collaborative.
In November 2017, I completed an intensive 3-day certification in Low Level Laser Therapy and have since been supporting horses with this gentle yet effective treatment.
Low Level Laser Therapy (also known as cold laser therapy) is a non-invasive treatment used to reduce pain and inflammation while encouraging tissue repair. It has long been used in human sports injury rehabilitation and is now widely recognised for its benefits in equine care.
The laser works through a photochemical reaction, similar to photosynthesis. Specific wavelengths of light stimulate the cells in damaged tissue, encouraging regeneration and natural healing. Depending on the situation, it can either stimulate or inhibit cellular activity to achieve the desired result.
Many horses remain relaxed throughout treatment — often appearing sleepy or indifferent — as the process is painless and quiet. Sessions are carried out in your horse’s home environment to minimise stress and allow them to feel comfortable and secure.
LLLT may help with:
Initial sessions usually last between 30–60 minutes depending on the condition. Treatment plans are always discussed beforehand and tailored to the individual.
In accordance with the Veterinary Surgeons Act (1966), veterinary permission will be sought where required.
I specialise in calm, confidence-building groundwork to help horses feel safe in everyday situations.
This can include:
My aim is always to reduce stress and build trust. I use a thoughtful blend of pressure and release (R–) and reward-based training (R+) where appropriate, adapting to each horse as an individual.
I also offer Horse Agility training, which is a wonderful way to strengthen communication and partnership through fun, obstacle-based exercises — either in hand or at liberty.
I offer applied zoopharmacognosy sessions for both horses and dogs — giving animals the opportunity to self-select safe herbs, clays and essential oils that may support their own wellbeing.
These sessions are calm, observational and entirely choice-led. It can be a deeply empowering process for animals, particularly those recovering from physical or emotional challenges.

I offer consultations using Bach Flower Remedies to gently support emotional wellbeing in horses and dogs. These remedies can be especially helpful during times of stress, change, trauma, behavioural difficulties or environmental adjustment.
Remedies are individually selected and can sit alongside other therapies.
Animal Reiki is a gentle, non-invasive energy therapy that encourages relaxation and supports the body’s natural healing processes.
Sessions are always animal-led. Some animals choose to engage closely, others prefer space — both are respected. Reiki can be particularly supportive for anxiety, recovery from illness or injury, trauma, or end-of-life comfort.
I am passionate about helping horses live as naturally and comfortably as possible.
Whether your horse is on box rest, in a dry lot, turned out full-time, or somewhere in between, there is almost always something that can be done to improve their daily experience and reduce unwanted behaviours.
I offer:
Small changes can often make a big difference to both physical and emotional wellbeing.
As an equine barefoot specialist, I support owners who wish to transition to or maintain a barefoot lifestyle for their horses.
Healthy hooves are fundamental to overall wellbeing. I can provide:
Each horse is treated as an individual, and any plan is built around their workload, environment and comfort.
I offer calm and respectful sheath cleaning for geldings and hygiene checks for mares where appropriate. These services are carried out patiently, prioritising the horse’s comfort and dignity at all times.
If you’d like to explore how I can support you and your horse (or dog), please feel free to get in touch. I’m always happy to have a friendly, no-pressure conversation about what might help.
